Out Shopping - Southeastern Salvage

Sunday, August 22, 2010

I popped into Southeastern Salvage on Friday  to see if there might be something blogworthy there.  They never disappoint!  Here's what I found.

Heaps of garden stools.  Lots of colors and shapes to choose from, priced starting at $66!

I am torn between the variegated turquoise (love) and the white (practical).  Help!

These are the same tables as here at about 1/3 of the price.

Do you like these?

I think I love them, even on Miles' over-the-top mantel.

How can I make a headboard out of this?

And tons of gold frames. You can create your own Design Star moment!

Get one of these,too.

Special secret tip:   free popcorn Friday, Saturday & Sunday!

It's Monday - let's roll!

Oooh!!! Go for the varigated turqouise!! I have two white and that fits in my house but if you can use a color I say go for it!!! I am not big on the horns, just me, not really sure why. They just feel very trendy to me, I say if you have always loved them go for it but If it is a new interest I would pass. Loved the table too. That is a great place to frequent. Thanks for sharing. Happy Monday!! Kathysue

Oh my gosh, Kim, the back of that bench would make such a great headboard! I love it! I saw that trestle table that someone else blogged about. They had been lusting after the RH one but mentioned they found it for considerably less. I wonder if she got it here. It's a favorite of mine now after seeing hers.

Wow! We don't have one near us, I'm crushed! I love the idea of turning the bench into a head board. Come over and see what Ruard Veltman and my friend from Charlotte did with Lutyens inspired head boards. You've gotta love the creative world! See you soon,
Liz

OMG...I LOVE Southeastern Salvage. I used to spend hours in there with my Mom when I was in high school in Chatt!! I had totally forgotten about it until you just posted this.

I'm going to hit it up next time I'm there. I've missed reading your blog and can't wait to read all the posts I missed:)

I loooove second hand stores and flea markets! Seriously every time I'm looking for something I take a trip to my local second hand shop and I always end up finding it there for 1/4 of the original price! Must be magic lol!

I haven't been in the SS here in Nashville lately. I definitely need to go! Maybe Friday when my son finally starts school. Chattanooga often seems to have better selection, but you never know. Thanks for sharing!
